ACHAIA. Patrai. Circa 45-40 BC. Tritemorion or Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 19 mm, 4.18 g, 2 h), Lykon Damotimou, magistrate. Draped bust of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. ΛYKⲰN ΔAMOTIMOY ΠATPЄⲰN Poseidon standing right, holding trident in his right hand and dolphin on his extended left; in field to left, Patrai monogram. BCD Peloponnesos 514 (this coin). BMC 6. A lovely and well struck piece with a fine olive green patina. Very minor smoothing on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
